Sample analysis with invented values. Your numbers come from your own answers — they locate where you stand, they do not predict an outcome.

What the analysis is based on

  • Kenntnisprüfung

Exam content set by the states

  • Nursing process

    Assessment through evaluation

  • German on shift

    Handover, charting, ward round

  • Your documents

    Decision, diploma, practice

The sentence that brought you hereRecognition decision · Germany

“Substantial differences have been identified. To compensate, a Kenntnisprüfung must be taken.”

Paraphrased wording from German recognition decisions.

Two sentences

The decision says: substantial differences.
Listo tells you which ones.

“Substantial differences” is an administrative term. It appears in your decision because your training differs from the German one — but it doesn’t tell you in which subject, by how much, or where to start. That is exactly the gap this analysis closes.

What you get

What you get

One analysis. Five answers. Nothing you didn’t ask for.

  • Strengths and gaps profile

Where you are professionally solid — and which topics you genuinely have to work on before the exam.

  • Language readiness: technical German

Not your certificate, but your German on shift: handover, documentation, talking to doctors and relatives.

  • Your realistic timeline

How many weeks of preparation your current level implies. With reasoning, not a gut feeling.

  • A four-week starting plan

What you actually do over the next four weeks — week by week, with topics and order.

  • An honest recommendation

Whether and when you should sit the exam. And what speaks against it, if something does.

An empty nurses’ station with patient files in morning light.

What actually reaches you.

Four excerpts in the structure of the real analysis: finding first, reasoning after. The values are invented; the structure is the one you get.

Where you stand

Your profile is uneven: further along linguistically than clinically — and one area pulls it down noticeably.

How long it takes

Between you and the exam lie four to seventeen weeks. The difference isn’t your knowledge — it’s your hours per week.

Chapter 04 · Sample profile · Kenntnisprüfung nursingNext steps

The next four weeks

The plan starts at the gap, not at the textbook. Four weeks, four priorities, in this order.

  1. Week 1

    Emergency care

ABCDE, resuscitation, shock — system, not isolated facts

  2. Week 2

    Emergencies in German

Say the emergency handover out loud, with the right terms

  3. Week 3

    Nursing process

Assessment to evaluation, across three worked cases

  4. Week 4

    Charting & law

What you must document — and what you must not write

Limits

We don’t promise you’ll pass. We tell you honestly where you stand.

You are a trained nurse. You don’t need a pep talk, you need an assessment you can rely on — even when it’s uncomfortable.

What we do

  • We look at where you stand professionally and linguistically.
  • We tell you what lies between you and the exam.
  • We give you a plan for the next four weeks.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t advise you on your recognition decision. Only the responsible authority and lawyers may do that.
  • We don’t draft appeals and we don’t represent you before the recognition authority.
  • We don’t promise a pass and we don’t quote pass rates.

Tone

Nobody here is selling you anything.

The same starting point, described twice. On the left, how preparation is usually sold. On the right, how Listo writes.

Course advertising

“With our proven intensive course you’ll be optimally prepared for the Kenntnisprüfung. Experienced instructors, hands-on content, a high success rate. Secure your place today!”

Listo

“Clinical knowledge 58, emergency care 42. At eight hours a week, roughly nine weeks lie between where you are today and the exam. In emergencies what you lack isn’t knowledge but system — and that is the part that closes fastest.”

  • Finding first

Every section opens with the result in one sentence. The reasoning follows, never the other way round.

  • Every sentence carries a number

If deleting a sentence loses no information, it isn’t in your analysis.

  • Uncertainty is named

Where your answers aren’t enough, it says so — instead of an estimate that looks more precise than it is.

Price

€49 for the diagnosis instead of €2,800 for the wrong course.

Preparation courses in Germany cost between €1,400 and €3,600 depending on provider and length. Before you invest that much money and several months, you should know what you actually need — and whether you need it at all.

Readiness Check

€49

One time, one thing: where you stand

  • Strengths and gaps across six areas
  • German on shift, assessed separately from your certificate
  • A realistic horizon in weeks, with reasoning
  • A four-week starting plan and one clear recommendation

Before you book

Questions you probably have

Do you advise me on my recognition decision?

No. Only the responsible recognition authority and qualified lawyers may assess your decision. We prepare you for the exam: we don’t review decisions, don’t draft appeals and don’t represent you before authorities.

Do you guarantee that I’ll pass?

No. Nobody can honestly guarantee that. We tell you where you stand and what is still missing. Passing is on you.

Is this a course?

No. The Readiness Check is a one-time position analysis. No lessons, no subscription, no automatic renewal.

Who writes my analysis?

A human reads your answers and takes responsibility for every statement in your analysis. We use AI as a tool — the release is done by hand.

How long does it really take?

Under 48 hours after you submit the questionnaire. If we ever miss that, we tell you — and refund the €49 if you want us to.

I already have an exam date.

Then the check is especially useful: it tells you whether your timeline is realistic and what to concentrate the remaining time on.

Which language will my analysis be in?

The language you fill in the questionnaire in: German, English or Tagalog. Technical terms stay German — the exam is in German.

What happens to my data?

It is used only to write your analysis, never passed to third parties, and deleted 30 days after delivery. Details are in the privacy policy.

I’m doing an Anpassungslehrgang, not the Kenntnisprüfung.

Then say so in the questionnaire. Analysing your professional and language starting point is the same work either way — only the timeline looks different.

I don’t live in Germany yet. Does this still work?

Yes. The check runs entirely online, from anywhere. Before you move it is worth even more: you know in advance how many weeks of preparation lie between you and the exam.
